Lucent Festival

Lucent Festival just shared their 10th anniversary in 2024 and I was lucky enough to be part of the marketing team for the 2nd year. Sharing in the beliefs from the festival that connection, community, nature and movement truly cure-all, the opportunity to work with Lucent to help share its light has been a soulful project for me.

This festival is a grassroots organization that relies heavily on volunteers and the community to help achieve its status, and with much success and growth over the last ten years, it was important for them to start implementing systems and utilizing a more professional approach within their online marketing.

First, we worked together to update their outdated website, which is partnered under the Embodied Living project - learn more here. It was important for Lucent to build a modern home online that promoted the festival, and outlined its amazing events, workshops, teachers, ticket information and all the FAQ’s. We also created a streamlined process for teachers and market vendors to apply to share their magic. All while implementing an email marketing system which would both create a better buying journey for festival goers and help us in the backend to organize leads and marketing campaigns.

Each year the festival undergoes changes, a new location, a new look, or general growth. All of which create design work to maintain professional branding cohesion across their platforms.

Supporting the event over several months prior to the opening day comes in many forms; creating email marketing templates, copywriting, editing, social media design, social media management, social media strategy, social media reel creation, poster design, festival signage, festival schedule of events design, festival map design, and general festival coordination.
